In the 2026 global Top 100 defense companies ranking, five Turkish defense firms have secured spots, underscoring the nation’s rising prowess in defense manufacturing and exports. ASELSAN stands out among these, achieving the 40th position, a notable climb from its 43rd spot the previous year. Turkish Aerospace Industries (TAI) follows at 48th, while ARCA Defense makes its debut on the list at 53rd.
Roketsan has shown significant progress, advancing to 64th from 71st, and MKE is positioned at 81st. Collectively, these companies amassed approximately $14.9 billion in defense revenue in 2025. ASELSAN led the pack with $4.46 billion, followed by TAI’s $3.65 billion, ARCA Defense’s $3 billion, Roketsan’s $2.37 billion, and MKE’s $1.42 billion.
This success is fueled by increasing international demand for Turkish defense products. The country’s defense industry has broadened its scope, extending into military electronics, aerospace, missile systems, ammunition, and other advanced technologies. This diversification has allowed Türkiye to become a formidable player in the global defense market.
The latest rankings highlight Türkiye’s expanding influence and capability in developing and exporting a wide array of defense systems. The achievements of these five companies reflect the broader efforts within the country to enhance its defense sector’s international competitiveness and technological advancements.
