Solustiq, a software and AI company based in Turkey, has announced its pioneering role as the country’s first vertical AI company tailored specifically for the global travel and tourism industry. Operating from Edirne, with offices in Istanbul and Dubai, Solustiq is addressing the technological gap in the travel sector by constructing a specialized AI infrastructure. The travel and tourism industry, a significant contributor to global GDP with over $11 trillion and employing one in ten workers globally, is among the least technologically modernized sectors. Solustiq aims to fill this gap by developing AI products that are finely tuned to the unique workflows, data structures, and regulatory requirements of the travel industry.
Departing from the typical single-product SaaS model, Solustiq has adopted a portfolio approach to vertical AI. This includes several AI-native products designed to target specific layers of the travel technology stack. Among these are DataGreat, an AI market intelligence platform with over 38 specialized modules for competitive research in travel and hospitality; SkilledAgents, a no-code platform that enables travel agencies and DMCs to create their own AI agents for booking and customer service; VibePy, an AI code generation engine that accelerates Solustiq’s product development; and Vuln0x, an autonomous AI penetration testing platform to protect the cybersecurity of travel clients.
These products, although distinct, share a foundation built on domain-specific training data, vertical-aware workflows, and industry-standard protocol integrations, including OCTO and TURSAB-compliant frameworks. Solustiq’s strategies are already being tested in the field through its sister company, Safaryar Holidays. As a TURSAB-licensed B2B hotel wholesaler and destination management company, Safaryar serves as both a customer and a real-world testbed for Solustiq’s platform. Solustiq also manages over 90 travel-related domains, using them as channels for AI-generated travel intelligence.
According to Solustiq’s founder and CEO, Alper Tekin, three main factors contribute to the rise of vertical AI in travel by 2026. These include the unbundling of legacy GDS oligopolies, which face new competition from AI-native infrastructure providers; the shift in “build vs. buy” economics that allows smaller travel agencies to deploy AI agents affordably; and regulatory developments in the EU and Turkey that pressure the industry to modernize. Tekin emphasizes that the choice for the travel industry is clear: opt for vertical AI solutions crafted by experts familiar with the industry, rather than generic AI solutions.
Solustiq, officially known as Solustiq Yazılım ve Yapay Zeka Teknolojileri A.Ş., is committed to advancing AI-native software solutions for the travel and tourism industry. Founded by Alper Tekin, the company operates from its headquarters in Edirne, with additional operations in Istanbul and Dubai. Solustiq’s innovative approach and comprehensive product portfolio aim to revolutionize how the travel industry integrates AI into its operations, ensuring a more efficient and technologically advanced future for the sector.
